Hi {{first_name | reader}}
For the staff at the Tennessee Lookout, journalism is a service.
We report on stories across Tennessee that affect residents of communities outside the big cities, and we offer free republication of all our stories by news outlets across the state.
When we received the Tennessee Press Association’s top award for public service journalism in June, we were proud, because public service is our mission. Every investigation we undertake, including Anita Wadhwani’s work detailing the lack of transparency surrounding Memphis Safe Task Force arrests to Adam Friedman’s investigation of how cash advance company Advance Financial has taken advantage of Tennesseans, is for your benefit.
But we need you in order to continue serving Tennesseans: Can you make a donation of $100, $50 or $25? As a nonprofit news outlet, we depend on reader support for the resources to continue bringing you important stories.
Our goal is $5,000 by Sept. 3. Can you chip in $100, $50 or even $25 to help us get there?
Sincerely,
